M Chart Pro

M Chart Pro is a paid add-on plugin that extends M Chart with four additional features for sourcing, cleaning up, annotating, and theming charts.

M Chart Pro requires M Chart 2.2.2 or later (on older versions it still runs, with a compatibility warning); the venn and euler features — region-targeted annotations and the Venn / Euler theme element — additionally need M Chart 2.3 or later.

Features

  • External Data Sources — Pull chart data from a CSV URL, Google Sheets, or a local or remote MySQL database
  • Smart Data Selection — Automatically or manually exclude stray cells, rows, and columns from a chart without editing its data
  • Annotations — Overlay Chart.js annotations (lines, boxes, labels) on charts
  • Theme Builder — Visual editor for creating and editing reusable Chart.js themes

Getting Pro

The free M Chart plugin adds an Upgrade link under the Charts admin menu — click it to reach the pricing screen and purchase a license. Once you're licensed, the same menu shows an Account link for managing your subscription and provides directions for downloading and installing M Chart Pro.

You can also learn more and purchase a license on the M Chart website:

Uninstalling

Deleting M Chart Pro from the Plugins screen removes the plugin's own settings, cached data, stored credentials — including each chart's encrypted MySQL connection password and CA certificate — and any scheduled external-data syncs. Your charts, your Theme Builder themes, and each chart's configuration — including its Smart Data Selection choices — are left in place, so reinstalling later picks up where you left off.
